Primrose Pandas are Respectful, Responsible and Safe

Mission: Barrington Public School’s mission is to empower all students to excel in character, citizenship, collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking, so that they may positively impact the future.

Vision: Together we inspire, learn, love and grow.

Dear Primrose Families,

Good afternoon and happy Friday. Another busy and energizing week at Primrose. In addition to all the successes within the classrooms, our rotations for using the cafeteria for both lunches has been working well.  If you are available to volunteer or even interested in applying for one of our open positions, please let us know.

Our Special Education Task Force met this week to prioritize the many goals that we had identified at our first meeting and planning forward. Several of our ideas align with the planning in other schools, so I am looking forward to exploring opportunities where we can collaborate to bring our families additional support and resources.

Hopefully you were able to watch the school committee meeting last night to learn about our school improvement plans across the district. Our Team here at Primrose will be meeting again next Monday night to discuss our plans and goals.

All month I have been sharing ideas and pieces around National Gratitude Month. If you would like to share your thoughts of gratitude for our staff or school, please look for the link below to share your thoughts. I am hopeful that we can recognize the many things that this amazing faculty and staff does in support of our student and one another. There are some craft ideas and activities below that you may be interested in trying with your family over the holiday weekend. I hope you find one that you can enjoy together.

I wish your family a wonderful and safe holiday next week. Enjoy your time together and if you are not celebrating together here in Barrington, I wish you safe travels.

With gratitude,

Coleen Smith

Lost and Found: Each week it shrinks and grows. Please have your child check the bench in the lobby or send in a note if you are missing any items. There are several additional jackets, coats and sweatshirts this week. If you know of any missing items, please let us know.
