Primrose Pandas are Respectful, Responsible and Safe

Dear Primrose Families,

Well the leprechauns were abound here at Primrose! Students focused some of their creative writing and artistic skills this week in honor of St Patrick’s Day. They told us all about the leprechaun traps they set at home and how their family celebrates this holiday.  Our assembly on the Legends of Ireland was postponed to the end of the month due to illness so we will continue our learning throughout the month.

Thank you to all the parents in Ms Canto’s class who were able to come and see their new classroom space in person. Many of you may have noticed that our third grade class was in the Barrington Times to showcase their new learning space. They have really made it their own and our Art classroom has come together quite nicely as well. Below are a few pictures that didn’t quite make it into the paper that I thought you would enjoy.

Next week we will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day with an assembly and a 3-2-1 dance party. The students will be learning more about Down Syndrome and how to be inclusive and kind. You may be wondering, what is a 3-2-1 dance party? We will have 3 primary schools, dance for 2 minutes, for 1 cause-awareness and celebration. Sowams and Nayatt will be dancing their socks off with us! Thanks in advance to Mrs Coleman and Mrs Scungio for coming to present for our school. Don’t forget to wear your fun, colorful socks on Wednesday to join in the celebration!

Reminder- the middle school is hosting a movie night tonight in support of the Robotics Team. The Lego Movie is a family favorite! Details are in the flier below.

Best,

Coleen Smith
