IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE REMINDERS:

On a regular school day, students should be in their seats by 8:30a.m.    The warning bell sounds 8:25a.m.   Students entering the building after 8:30 will be marked Tardy.  Parents are asked to call the main office (247-3150) by 9:00a.m. if your child is going to be absent, late or dismissed.   This allows the office staff time to enter attendance into the database for teachers to see.

Students need to be in on time in order to participate in sports, clubs or any afterschool activities.   If an appointment is necessary during the school day, a note from the appointment is required upon returning to school.   Our fax # for those who need it is 401-245-6170.  Coaches/Advisors will be informed of those who should not participate

Students out for an extended period of time due to a vacation or other event should let the main office know so they can be coded properly.  We do not change attendance after the fact unless it  is within 24 hours or a drs. note can be provided.

Happy 2023 from the BHS Parents!  As we near the halfway point in the academic year, the Barrington Parent Association could still use your support to fund programs at BHS.  If you have not yet joined the BPA for this year, please consider joining.  These membership funds go toward purchasing things such as, additional library books, items for student programs, teacher appreciation events, senior events, and an annual gift to the school.  Membership is $25 for the year and families can join through the Barrington Parent Association website: Home (weebly.com)
