Upcoming Events:

  • Friday, April 30th, last day for Nayatt School Yearbooks to be ordered.  Support our school and get those numbers up for this year.

    • On sale through April 30th, $22, scholarships are available.

  • May 3rd-May 7th-Teacher Appreciation Week

  • April 26-May 30th-Book Drive to Support Books are Wings or Books Through Bars

  • May 13th-Eid al-Fitr-Festival of the Breaking of the Fast

    • Celebrated by our Muslim families at the end of Ramadan

    • No School Students

  • May 17th-Statewide Professional Development Day

    • Students participate in independent learning tasks assigned in Canvas, at home.

  • May 31st-Memorial Day

    • No School Students & Staff

Hustle for Heroes-Nayatt Virtual 5K-April 30th-May 9th

  • Run for our Nayatt School Teachers and for our First Responders:

  • Virtual 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run

  • A Virtual Race is a race you can run at any location, at your pace, outside or on a treadmill, alone or with a group of friends.

This week, Hustle for Heroes celebrates our Grade 1 Teachers:

  • Mrs. Cunningham, Mrs. Danielian, Mrs. Kovolyan, and Ms. Pereira

  • Their students describe them as kind, caring, helpful, smart and more.  See the flyers created by the students and the room parents.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week May 3rd-7th:

  • Participate in the Nayatt 5K-Hustle for Heroes with your child.

  • The Nayatt PTO Hospitality Committee has many special treats planned.

  • Watch for information from your child’s room parents on other things happening.

  • Our PTO Board has some surprises for them as well.

Nayatt PTO Grant Applications:

  • Please note that the deadline for applications will be Friday, May 14th and the grants will be voted on at the June 3rd PTO meeting.

BPS Volunteer Guidelines for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year

Volunteers must:

-Have a current BCI on file with the BPS Volunteer Office

-Be fully vaccinated (two weeks post vaccination)

-Wear a mask at all times on school grounds

-Check in and out in the school office

  • We are currently limiting volunteers to outdoor events, one parent at a time and the library.
