Friends of DC Planning Group:

Over this past year we learned a lot of great lessons with fundraising for our annual 8th grade trip to Washington, DC trip. One of those lessons was to start our fundraising early. With that said, we hope to form working parent groups for our current 6th-grade students and our current 7th-grade students to begin and plan fundraising efforts throughout their time at BMS. If you are interested in serving on this important planning group to make the 8th grade trip a reality for your child and their class, please complete the respective form below by Friday, April 26, 2024.

Please note, this visit is not to your child’s classroom, but rather to see teaching and learning happening throughout the school.

BMS Student Council:

The BMS Student Council is opening up a new avenue for BMS students to communicate their questions and concerns about their student experience at BMS to their student council members.  If a student has a question or concern, please have them complete this form.  Thank you.

BMS Spring Tennis:

BMS Spring Tennis has started! There will be 3 sessions this week (Tuesday, 4/30-Thursday, 5/2). There will be a new Sign-Up Genius each week and all abilities and grade levels may sign up for any day but please limit your student's sign up to one day per week to give others a chance to participate. The Spring Tennis program will last for five weeks (this is week 2) and each week will focus on a different set of skills culminating in some games between classmates. There is no cost to participate! Again, there will be a new sign-up sheet in the Connected Newsletter each week so keep an eye out for that. Please reach out to Riley Spillane (spillaner@barringtonschools.org) with any questions.
